Shoes used to smuggle drugs into NZ

Smugglers are using their shoes to conceal drugs, the Customs Service says.

A 40-year-old New Zealander returning from a holiday in Thailand was found at Christchurch International Airport with pseudoephedrine in the heels of his shoes, Customs said yesterday.
